White Chicken Lasagna

One box Barilla no bake lasagna noodles
One can red sauce
Cottage cheese
Mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup Cream cheese
One chicken bullion cube
2 cups fat free Organic milk
2 cups Almond milk
1 Tbs olive oil
1/4 cup flour
Parmesan cheese
2 chicken breasts (boiled and shredded with two forks)

While chicken is boiling, place oil in medium sauce pan and simmer until bubbling.  Add flour and mix well. Let simmer one min. Add milks. When warm add cream cheese and bullion cube. Bring to a boil then simmer uncovered. Will thicken.

In large casserole dish spread 1/2 cup of red sauce. Place 3 sheets of lasagna noodles flat in sauce. Layer with a thin coat of cottage cheese, sprinkle with parmesan cheese. Spread one shredded chicken breast on top, coat with one cup of white sauce.

Repeat.

On top; one layer of noodles, 1/2 cup white sauce, 1/4 cup mozzarella cheese and red sauce.
Cook at 350 for about an hour. (makes about 12 servings)

  1. Red sauce as in spaghetti sauce? And is the nutrition facts for the lasagna including the white sauce?

    1. Yes, regular marinara sauce. The nutrition facts do include the white sauce. But switch the flour to regular white flour. My experiment with the whole wheat is that it doesn't thicken very well.
